Works from the work of the master Löffler himself are characterized by a certain grasp of the bodily form, precise distribution of masses, perfect situating of the figure in stillness and movement. They express a distinct idea, often by simplifying the shapes, but not at the expense of their natural essence.
The motif of the woman runs through the entire work of the master Löffler. His work is dominated by a type that sensitively combines an interest in physicality with the idea of the ideal. In the creation of portraits, he captures the psychosocial essence of man with the depiction of mental qualities through the physiognomic features of the depicted. His mastery is also reflected in his smaller compositions, often made of precious materials such as ivory, amber, coral or silver. He also used these materials in his distinctive jewellery creations.
