Thanks to Mr. Löffler's lifelong attitude to aid the public to learn about cultural values, the Vojtech Löffler Museum has decided to give researchers and those who are interested, the opportunity to study from the books of the Löffler Library.
In addition to his rich collection of works of art, Vojtech Löffler's collecting passion also manifested itself in the acquisition of books. The donation agreement under which the museum was established also includes a requirement to keep a private library.
The library consists of more than 2,000 books on fine arts, culture, history, religion and geography. Mr. Löffler's library collection is mostly from Slovak, Hungarian and German publishers, from the beginning of the 18th century.
The library is open to the public for a full-time study inside the museum. A complete catalog of books is also available.
